Around the world, millions are not afforded the luxury of having water piped into their houses. Instead, they must walk to collect their water for daily use. In Burkina, women and children walk nearly 5 miles to get just 5 gallons of water, each day.
On May 7, 2017, Team I:EAU will run 26.2 miles in solidarity with these individuals. We will advocate for the innate human right to clean water. More information about the marathon can be found here; interested in supporting us?
