Donald co-founded Initiative: Eau in 2013. He currently serves as the organization’s Chief Executive Officer and President of its Board of Directors.
Concurrently, Donald is Public Health Officer with the World Health Organization, specialized in emergency immunization based in Geneva (Switzerland). Formerly, he was the COVID-19 Vaccination Data & Monitoring Lead with WHO and COVAX, the global initiative, co-led by Gavi, CEPI, and the World Health Organization, aimed at ensuring fair and equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines for all countries. Prior to joining WHO, he was a strategy manager with Dalberg Advisors specialized in public health and humanitarian conflict, and a Fulbright Fellow with U.S. Department of State in Burkina Faso investigating urban water quality in small- and medium-sized cities to inform infrastructure investment to reduce water-borne disease.
Donald holds a degree in molecular biology and global health from Harvard University.
