Donald co-founded Initiative: Eau in 2013. He currently serves as the organization’s Chief Executive Officer and President of its Board of Directors.
Concurrently, Donald is a Public Health Officer with the World Health Organization, specialized in emergency immunization based in Geneva (Switzerland). Formerly, he was the COVID-19 Vaccination Data & Monitoring Lead with WHO and COVAX, the global initiative, co-led by Gavi, CEPI, and the World Health Organization, aimed at ensuring fair and equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines for all countries. Prior to joining WHO, he was a strategy manager with Dalberg Advisors specialized in public health and humanitarian conflict, and a Fulbright Fellow with U.S. Department of State in Burkina Faso investigating urban water quality in small- and medium-sized cities to inform infrastructure investment to reduce water-borne disease.
Donald holds a degree in molecular biology and global health from Harvard University.
